1960's Bands - Status Quo

 

Status Quo. The legendry Status Quo, formally The Spectres rocked around Sunderland in 1968. The enduring partnership of Rossi and Parfitt is the thing that keeps Status Quo on the road today. Their career began at Butlin's holiday camp after winning a four year contract, spanning four decades of hits.

Status Quo's first release was Pictures of Matchstick Men followed by "Ice In The Sun" and future hits such as "In The Army Now" and "Rockin' All Over The World." Quo performed an exclusive show for Radio 2 at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, London, Live on-air on Thursday August 11th 2011.
