1960's Bands - The Troggs

 

The Troggs. Were originally known as the Troglodytes. They were signed up by kinks manager Larry Page. They had a very difficult career which ended at the end of the 60's. Hits included A Girl Like You, Wild Thing and I Cant Control My Self. Wild Thing was famously covered by Jimi Hendrix.

The Troggs also appeared at the Sunderland Empire on November 1st 1969. Who can forget "Wild Thing"? The Troggs have always been remembered for this 60s anthem, but it is just one of their many UK hits. "With A Girl Like You", "I Can't Control Myself", "Anyway That You Want Me", "Give It To Me" and "Love Is All Around".
