The Who. Appeared at the Fillmore Lacarno Sunderland on the 28th July 1969.
The Who were first launched on the back of the Mod movement in 1964. The group successfully developed an anti-social reputation for smashing up their gear on stage a point witnessed by many people who saw them at their concert at Sunderland that evening. A popular and successful group with a numerous amount of hits including My Generation, Pictures of Lily & Pinball Wizard. The Who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, their first year of eligibility.
