Songwriter and lead singer Marc Bolan sang his poetic, lyrics about mystical love in a warbling voice that was otherworldly and attractive all at once. Get It On became an international hit and paved the way for Marc Bolans career as the king of glam rock. Marc Bolan's career was sadly cut short on September 16th 1977, when he died in a car accident. Although many years have passed since then, Bolan's influence on rock and roll remains potent. Other members were Mickey Finn, Steve Currie & Bill Legend. Biggest hits include Get It On (Bang A Gong), Ride A White Swan and Telegram Sam.
