Follow These Simple Steps to Make a Animal Jumble

Animal Jumble Using white paper, ask each child to drawn a different body part of an animal, but to keep their animal a secret. For example, have one child draw the head, another draw the tail, another the legs and so on. Let the children pick the animal they want to draw. When they are done have them put the animal together with tape or glue. Have fun coming up with a name for the animal (monk-dog-lion-potamus).

Follow These Simple Steps to Make a Box Guitar

Box Guitar This is an easy way to make a guitar using an old shoe box or tissue box, rubber bands, scissors, a paper-towel tube, and a pencil. Find an old shoe box, tissue box, or other cardboard box. Have an adult cut an oval-shaped hole in the top. Stretch a few rubber bands around the box and over the hole. Put a pencil under the rubber bands on one side Tape on a paper-towel tube and decorate the box.

Follow These Simple Steps to Make a Butterfly Puppet

Butterfly Puppet Traced the shape of a butterfly on pieces of stiff card a cereal box would do and then it can be used to draw round to make as many butterflies as needed. Then the children can cut out the shapes and colour them with crayons, glitter anything that's handy and colourful. Then fold it in half with the coloured side in. Then staple loops for handles on the back.

Make the loops about 3 inches long and place them outwards from the folded line so that you place your fingers and thumb into either loop and by opening and closing your hand, you make the butterfly fly. Each butterfly will be unique and beautiful in its own way.

Follow These Simple Steps to Make a Card Holder

Card Holder Lay out a piece of wax paper or recycle a plastic bag to protect your work surface. Note Newspaper will stick to the project. Lay three ice lolly sticks flat next to each other side to side. Glue the three sticks together. This is the front side of the card holder. For the base of the card holder, lay 2 ice lolly sticks flat next to each other and glue together in the same fashion as that of the front. For the back of the card holder, lay 4 ice lolly sticks flat next to each other side to side, and also glue together. For the sides of the card holder, cut 1 and 1/4 inch off of the top and bottom of 2 ice lolly sticks.

Lay 2 long edges together side to side and glue together. Repeat with other 2 ends for the other side of the card holder. Glue the front to the base at a right angle. Glue the back to the base also at a right angle. Now you should have a U-shaped figure. Glue the right and left sides to the base, front, and back of the card holder. Now you should have the actual card holder finished. Let dry. Add decorations Felt or cardboard paper could be used to make the flowers as well. Attach a child's picture on the front of the holder for a decoration that Mam will love.
