Roy Chubby Brown born as Royston Vasey on 5th February 1945 in
Grangetown, Middlesborough. His birth name, Royston Vasey, is the name of the
fictional village where The League Of Gentlemen (1999) is set. Roy has two sons
who haven't followed in his footsteps, one is a roofing contractor and the other
one owns an ice-cream van. In 2001 he had another son Reece, making him a father
again at the age of 56.
Alun Armstrong was born on 17th July 1946 in County Durham. Formerly
lived in Annfield Plain. Though his face may have once been handsome, it is now
a relief map of crevasses that make him ideal for roles as Dickens characters.
Alun was a member of the original London cast of Cameron Mackintosh's stage
production Les Miserables which opened in 1985. Although never regarded as a
famous actor, Armstrong has certainly been one of the hardest working. Between
1999 and 2002, he performed in 17 productions, including two major films Sleepy
Hollow and The Mummy Returns and a hit TV miniseries, The Aristocrats.
Pete Trewavas was born in Middlesbrough on 15th January 1959. Pete is
bass guitarist with the rock band Marillion. Pete began Guitar lessons aged 7
with his 'little mate Robin' who is now top rock guitarist Robin Boult. After
6th form college, Pete worked for some time as an apprentice television
engineer. Then he joined a band called The Metros, in the summer of 1981 they
were offered the chance of some dates in New York.
The Metros ended their trip with a show supporting Duran Duran. In February
1982, after seeing a gig of The Metros, FISH, Marillion singer, asked Pete if he
could audition. He was successful and joined the band in March 1982. Pete
Trewavas has played on all the Marillion albums since the beginning and also

Brian Johnson was born on 5th October 1947, in Dunston Newcastle. As a
kid Brian performed Gang Shows with the Scouts, appeared in a TV play and even
joined the local church choir. But he was quickly bitten by the rock'n'roll
demon. Gravely voiced Brian formerly of 'Geordie' now with AC/DC. Brian joined
AC/DC in 1980 after the death of Bon Scott, he became lead singer with the band.
His first album with the band, Back In Black, reached number 1 in the UK and
Australia, number 4 in the USA, and spawned the UK number 15 single "Rock 'n'
Roll Ain't Noise Pollution.
