The Kinks
The Kinks, one of the most
enduring groups to come out of the 60's. Brothers, Ray and
Dave Davis played at the Seaburn hall on September 16th 1967
to a audience of only 100 people. Seaburn hall was a
unpopular place for venues there were no facilities for
public events, people preferred workingmen's clubs so they
could dance and have a drink. They of course also left a
huge legacy behind them with a number of hits including
Waterloo Sunset, You Really Got Me & Lola.
