I have a few half tins of paint and a 10-litre plastic tub of emulsion to dispose of. Does anyone know where I can take these in the Sunderland area as I need to get rid of them quickly?
I am not sure if old paint can be recycled?
I've checked the Sunderland household waste and recycling website/page but there's no mention of paint.

They take engine oil and that is one mother you need to dispose of properly.
Take it down and see what they say, I am sure they have not listed everything they will take or refuse.

Re: Waste paint for disposal
I have taken paint to the dump without a problem.
I was told to dump it in the normal general rubbish skips and that's what I did.
They should take stuff like this because if they didn't there would be wise cracks dumping it all over the place with horrendous results!
