Sunderland played three fullbacks early on but soon realised a flat-back four was the better option because Swansea were going all out.
The lads improved in the second half and could have got an equaliser at the death through a Patterson header.
It wasn't our day though.
Final score - Sunderland 1-2 Swansea.
