Sunderland Council Tax Bill Shocker

Post by Gibsy »

The postman has just been and I just got hold of my council tax bill.
Its for over £1,300
That's over £25.00 every week.
What am I getting from Sunderland City Council for this?
Apart from emptying the bins, what else am I getting for this money?

I thought that I was the only one who got a bill for £1,500. WTF?

Hey mate, sorry to hear about the shocker of a council tax bill you received! It's always frustrating to feel like you're paying a lot of money and not seeing enough in return. Have you considered keeping track of your costs using a [LINK DELETED] It might give you a better idea of exactly where your money is going and help you see if there's anything you can cut back on.
It's also not a bad idea to demand a clear report from the City Council on how they're spending your hard-earned cash. After all, we deserve to know exactly where our money is going and what we're getting for it.

I wish the bin men and women would stop leaving my bin halfway up the street.
I am sick of going out in my dressing gown, pipe and slippers to retrieve it!
