Aldi reduced price sticker rip off

Post by Trish »

This was the second time I've come back from Aldi and checked my receipt and it was wrong.

I took another reduced item with bright money off sticker on it.

They didn't reduce the item but this is not the first time because they didn't do it last time either :argument:

Next time @Trish, stand at the end of the till and do your checking.
I guarantee while you are standing there, they will not deal with another customer.
Once you comb through your receipt, tell the checkout assistant about any discrepancies and then complain to the manager.

Ha.. a customer has the right to complain if they feel they are being ripped off

Yes, you have to complain if the service is shoddy.
What seems to be happening here is fraud so why should a big business do that?

It was tongue in cheek because I look for bargains in Tesco but at least there I get the money off whatever I buy.

I always do but only if I can consume them before the best-before date.

That's it, because if it's only got a short shelf life then you might actually waste money.

Why not if we eat the things on the same day?

I'm into frozen foods nowadays.
