Fulham vs Sunderland - FA Cup 4th Round

Post by Nockya »

Tony Mowbray sends a full-strength team to Craven Cottage.
Will Sunderland go through to the 5th round?

There are 5,500+ Sunderland supporters at Fulham today. I hope they see us get past this lot and we are 1-nil up so why not. We are doing canny as well after a little early pressure.

This game basically was a free hit and we are really going for it.
There is no doubt that we have put a shift in so far and we have had the best opportunity with a goal as well.
Win or lose, we have gained a lot of respect here today.

If only we had out shooting boots on we could have killed this game off. Another goal would be gold dust but you can't help feeling that Fulham has a little more in reserve while we could fade. I am hopeful.

End to end and Patto has played his part.

I just don't believe it.
How we are not 2-0 up is beyond me.
I reckon we should be more defensive now and try to keep this 1-0 lead.
I know many would say go for it but away a 1-0 win at Fulham in the cup would do us the world of good.

What a great game of football we are witnessing.
The Premier League is not too good for Sunderland so bring on the play-off final!
