Wheelie bins and lazy binmen

Post by Trish »

Whenever there is a bin collection here, how come the bin men leave our wheelie bins halfway up the road?
Most mornings nowadays I have my dressing gown on until about midday and I can't be bothered to look around for my bin.
I go to the length of carefully positioning my bin at the edge of my drive as instructed so why can't they put it back, or at least close to my house?
In windy weather, those empty bins can get blown into parked cars.

Does anyone else have lazy binmen in Sunderland?
Surely it's not council policy to dump our bins like this?

I've just put the bin out tonight and these sorts of things happen all the time.
I know someone in a block of flats up at Thorney Close where there are a lot of flats at the bottom of the square and bin day there is chaotic.

Lazy buggers. I'd tell them off.

Remember when the binmen used to drop rubbish and just leave it on the ground, I can. Doesn't happen much now.

My bin absolutely stunk today.
It needs a bloody good disinfectant in there.

Use Domestos because it kills all known germs - dead!

The power of complaints works (sometimes), Trish.
